Melissa Bennett

Melissa is 14 years old and was diagnosed with ALL in 1986. Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia is considered the most curable of all major forms of leukemia. ALL is also the most common form of childhood leukemia, representing 85% of leukemia in patients under 21 years of age.

Melissa is one of the lucky 74% of children who survive being diagnosed with leukemia. Melissa and her family live in the mountians of southern California. She likes to do crafts such as beading and painting. Today Melissa is in remission and doing very well.
